CONTRACEPTION AND FAMILY PLANNING - Advice is given on all forms of contraception including emergency contraception such as the morning after pill. Pre-conceptual advice is also available.
CERVICAL SMEARS - The Practice runs a screening programme with automatic recalls as appropriate. This test is important for all women aged between 25-64. The test is done with either the Practice Nurse or a doctor.
MINOR SURGERY - Removal of moles, cysts, joint/soft tissue injections etc can be arranged by appointment. Please consult your doctor first.
NON NHS SERVICES -Special appointments for medical examinations for insurance, driving, sports, employment can be made through the receptionists. A fee is usually charged for these medicals. Please see Non NHS Services Link in further information on the home page.
TRAVEL CLINICS- These are run by a Practice Nurse to offer advice and the immunisations required relative to the country visited. These need to be booked 6 weeks before travel. Please see the travel clinic link in further information on the home page.
SICKNESS CERTIFICATES- Illnesses lasting less than seven days are covered by the self certificate. If your illness continues you must be seen by a doctor before a certificate for sickness can be issued. Private certificates are available if your employer insists, but there is a fee, please see non NHS services on the home page.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. We run a range of clinics. For an appointment or further details please call reception on 01883 625262.
Antenatal - Tuesday
This clinic is run by the midwife. If you become pregnant, you will be given a "booking appointment" at which the midwife will ask you a number of questions and carry out some general health checks.
Childhood Immunisations and Baby Clinic - Wednesday
All childhood immunisations are performed in this clinic by Carol, the Practice Nurse. Shelley, the Nurse Practitioner, undertakes all 8 week baby checks. Please ensure your baby is at least 8 weeks old when attending this clinic.
Diabetes - Friday
Dr Hinkes or Dr Cohen and Carol run this clinic which offers advice and general health checks for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Patients with asthma and COPD are invited for regular health checks and general advice with Sandra or Carol.
Patients with heart disease are invited for a regular health check with Sandra and Carol.
Wellbeing Clinic - Tuesday
Our wellbeing advisor will meet with you to discuss your needs, which can include eating well, meeting new people, losing weight, getting active, and many other issues. They are able to provide advice and signpost you to local services that can help. Appointments can be made via the GP or by contacting our receptionist.
Cryotherapy - Wednesday
Once a month Carol has a cryotherapy clinic.
Wellbeing prescription is a free service that can help you improve your health and wellbeing. Our wellbeing advisors will meet with you to discuss your needs. They are able to provide expert advice and signpost to local services that can help you be healthier and happier. This includes services that can help you get active, lose weight, eat well, stop smoking, get a load off your chest or meet new people.
Appoints are available at the surgery on a Tuesday - please call reception to book an appointment.
Home visits are also available if you are unable to get to the surgery.

The practice has an experienced midwife visit the surgery every Tuesday afternoon to care for the practices pregnant ladies.
As soon as you know that you are pregnant please book in to see the midwife (by 10 weeks at the latest).
Prior to seeing the midwife please complete a pregnancy registration form which is available from reception or at the link below.
Hand the completed form into reception where you will be issued with an early pregnancy pack and your first appointment with the midwife will be made for you. This will be a 30 minute appointment to discuss early pregnancy advice, blood tests and screening. All of this information is in the pregnancy pack so please have a read of it before your appointment.
After your first appointment and before you are 12 weeks pregnant you will be booked into Oxted Health centre for full booking assessment. This will take 1.5 hours and will include blood tests.
Further appointments with the midwife will all be booked by the midwife.
